is it a problem to keep both programs on the same sytem
2003- works fine
2007- is working slow -
any ideas why this is so?
Any suggestions
*the reason i am keeping both on. is because i need some things from 2003.
Thanks in advance

The slowness is not due to both being on the same computer. PPT 2007 has
a different graphics engine than 2003 which might be more demanding on
your graphics hardware and software than 2003.
Got the newest graphics card driver? Did you already reduce your
hardware acceleration?

In addition to Patrick's suggestion, make sure you have a certified printer
driver installed and set as the default printer.

Did you go and get the newest drivers?
How much did you reduce the hardware acceleration?

I don't know what the newest drivers are. Why don't you check with your
computer manufacturer?

Okay, so is the driver for it on the certified list, and is that printer set
as the default printer? There's a link to a list of certified drivers on the
FAQ I posted earlier: http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00850.htm
