We have a few different machines with Powerpoint 2002 installed on
them for the graphics people. A few have 2002 SP1 and others have
2002 SP2. When a presentation is created on a 2002 SP2 machine it
works fine on that machine, but once the person with SP1 opens it to
make a non-related change it will break the highlighting features on
their embedded images. I can open the file from the network share on
my machine (powerpoint 2003) and it works fine, so can the user with
powerpoint 2002 SP2, but the laptops all have sp1.....i tried to find
the changes made from sp1 to sp2 but didn't see anything that
mentioned something like this. thanks!
