I have two people using powerpoint 2002, and 50 using
powerpoint 2000. When the 2002 users create slideshows,
they do not view correctly on the computers that only have
2000. Should I have these people create pps files, or are
there certain functions that just will not be viewable
unless you have powerpoint 2002? I've also downloaded the
viewer, but that didn't seem to help. Can anyone give me
any idea's as to what to do here.

PowerPoint 2000 is older than PowerPoint 2002, as you know, and it doesn't
support the new features. The two PowerPoint 2002 users can go to Tools >
Options > Edit and disable the three items at the bottom of the dialog and
their presentations will only use features that PowerPoint 2000 supports.
