When using Presenter View - presentation set up to
display on a second monitor which is actually the
projector - occasionally, the mouse cursor will disappear
from the presenter's screen and appear on the projector
screen. Does anyone know exactly what causes this and how
to prevent it or correct it when it happens. Thanks.

The projector screen is an extension of the computer's screen (or, at least,
Windows considers it thus). So if the mouse is shown on the projectors
screen, than it rolled there, just pull it back to the computer's screen and
all will be well again.

To the computer, the projector is just another monitor and the desktop is
spread out over a couple of them. If you want to see how the computer
thinks your screens (monitors) are arranged ...
Start | Settings | Control Panel | Display | Settings

Then just don't roll your mouse off the side where the projector is.

Thanks much - this has been really really annoying and
it's good to know how to prevent it, especially since I
am training people who don't know anything about
Powerpoint to run these presentations.
