Hi,
Since we have upgraded our workstations with SP1 for Windows and SP2
for Office, we experience some weird issue in Microsoft Powerpoint
2002 and also 2003.
When we insert a movie .mpg (we tried differend files) with a long
filename or path (like one from a network drive) via Insert -> Movies
and Sounds -> Movie from File, the movie will not play! Instead of
playing, there is only a white box..
When I rename the file to a shorter filename or copy the file to a
less deeper network drive, there is no problem!
We found this problem on ALL our workstations, either if they are
updated or newly installed...
Can anyone reproduce this "error" and maybe can give me a hand here? I
didn't find anything helpfull yet..
Cheers,
Daniel.
