Powerpoint 2000

I am to sit the Presentation module of ECDL soon and as it is using
Powerpoint 2000 I was hoping to install it on my PC for a short time so i
could become familiar with it and go throught the syllabus. I've not touched
P. Pt before at all and would not use it at home normally anyway. From what
i can see it is all part of Office 2000 which comes complete with such as
Access, Excel etc which I do not really need. I have Works 7.0 including
Word 2002 installed now. Any where I can purchase the programs separately?

It's always been possible to buy standalone copies of PowerPoint, but the
current version is 2003 and 2007's about to come out. I doubt anyone's still
selling 2000. You may be able to pick up a copy on eBay or someplace like that.

If you can't find standalone PPT but run across a decent price on the full
Office 2000, that'd be a reasonable choice. You can do a custom install and
choose only the programs you want.
