If I create a slide show in PowerPoint 2003 will it play
properly on a computer with PowerPoint 2000?

Yes, as long as you don't use any of the new animations in 2003 (Emphasis,
Exit, etc.). There are a couple of other minro differences, but this one is
the one that usually comes into play.

In addition to what Bill and Sonia already mentioned: You cannot use the
multiple masters feature of PPT 2003, either.

If you want to be sure, deactivate the new features in "Tools - Options -
Edit".

Yes and no. Generally, PPTs that use multiple masters will look as you'd
expect them to in PPT2000 and even in 97.
You just can't get at the masters to edit them in versions prior to 2002.
