powerpoint 2000 to 03 conversion

I have a PP2000 presentation that will not open in PP2003. I have tried
saving from 2000 in various formats but no joy. I have also opened both
versions and tried cutn'npaste but the paste into 2003 will not work. The
2003 open error message is that part of the file is missing. Can you help?

Update your PowerPoint 2003 to the latest service pack. To do so, click Help

Check for Updates. After which, open the presentation again and see if it

works this time round.
