I have a machine with Windows 2000 SP3 and Microsoft Office 2000 SP3.
No matter what user is logged into the machine (administrator or
normal domain user), when Powerpoint is opened, it throws an error and
then crashes. The error is:
----------------------------------
Runtime Error!
Program C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 2000\Office\POWERPNT.EXE
R6025
-pure virtual function call
----------------------------------
I've searched through MS Support and could not come up with any
related articles to Powerpoint. I did find a couple for other MS
products, like MS Money, and I did try the recommended fixes for the
other products in the hopes that one of them would work, but none did.
This error does not occur on any other machine here, and every
machine has identical setups; we use Symantec Ghost to image machines.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
