First, thanks to those who helped me to include sound
with my slides. Now I have another problem.
Including sound with slides works real good, but..

I have four different subjects of slides.
First subject has slides #1 - 30.
Second subject #31 - 40
Third subject #41 - 50
Four subject #51 - 55.

I have inserted sound for the first group and indicated in
the Multimedia Settings tabs to stop the sound at slide
#30. And it worked perfectly.
Now, I inserted sound for the second group at slide # 31
and indecated to stop the sound at the end of the second
group slide #40. When I tested the SlideShow, the sound
for the first group did stop at slide #30, the sould for
the second group started at slide #31 but did no stop at
the desired slide # 40. It just continued on to the next
group.

How do I make the sound stop after the second, third and
(there should be no problem to stop at the end of the
last group)

Appreciate help. Thanks George.

Hello George,

Two quick questions: What version of PPT? What format are the audio files
(.wav, .mp3, etc.)

When you say "Multimedia Settings tabs to stop the sound at slide #30" do
you mean you input 30 in the 'stop playing after ___ slides'? Then the
second audio, inserted on slide 31 would say 'stop playing after 10 slides"
The count of slides between the starting point and the end, not the slide
number to end on.

Second, because audio cannot truly be timed in PowerPoint, is your audio
much longer than the time needed to get to slide 30-40-50-55? If not, set
the audio to loop so you do not run out of audio before slides.

Which version of PPT are you using?

If it's 2002 (aka XP), see if putting 999 in the "stop playing after"
box helps. It may. Then again, it may not. :-)
