Hi
Has anyone used PowerPlugs FlashReady? I was considering purchasing it but was hoping someone may have some feedback on it first.

I have been using Flash in my ppt presentations for about a year now but have found it to be a guessing game as to whether or not my animation will actually run. I was hoping this application may decrease my chances of public humiliation! Any thoughts are appreciated.

Here's a link for those that may not be aware of it
http://www.crystalgraphics.com/presentations/flashready.main.as

Thanks!

Lisa,
I haven't used the product but from what I see on the site, this is just a
tool to import swf''s into PowerPoint ( a lot of free add-ins are available
to achieve it) along with a bunch of SWF's bundled with it. It doesn't seem
to have anything special (at least not mentioned on the site) which will
ensure that your animation will work everytime ( it only seems to set the
activex control properties). I think it is overpriced product for what it
offers. If your issue is to ensure that the Flash Animation runs everytime
then use this add-in www.mvps.org/skp/flashback.htm - it's free!

Shyam,
I was thinking along the same lines as you in that I already know how to insert Flash into Powerpoint so what is the added benefit of this program? I thought maybe I was missing something in the info I read.
I am going to checkout the add in you mention now.

Thanks so much!
Lisa
