I use the freeware PowerDesk file manager & love it. One question if anyone
can help. On the pull down "Favorites" menu, how do you delete a previously
added favorite. I can't find a way but it must be there.

Thanks in advance... Bob

I'm using PowerDesk 5. Favorites are stored in a simple folder, such
as:

C:\Program Files\Ontrack\PowerDesk\Username\Favorites

You can safely add/delete files/folders there.

There should be an "Open Favorites Folder" option on the menu.

I should point out that PowerDesk Pro is not freeware, but there is a
somewhat limited freeware version, with a daily nag screen at shutdown
and an advertisement bar at the bottom of the window.

Thanks, that did it. Are there any other worthy successors out there to
consider?

On the subject of Power Desk 5 freebie: Has anyone else found that
this version is a-g-o-n-i-z-i-n-g-l-y slow compared to PwrDesk4? I
tried PD5 but abandoned it back to PD4.

It seems fine to me. I've used it for years, paid for it actually but I
heard since Ontrack stopped supporting it, whoever they gave/sold it to was
giving it away for free.
