powercolour vid cards??

Gday
New system time and im being recomended a powercolour Radeon 9800 pro 128mb
any opions on this maufacturer
or what other brands do people recon?

I've got a Club3D Radeon 9800 Pro 128 Mb. Work's like a dream. It's using
Ati's ref. design. I believe it's the same for Powercolor.
Any card will do, just go for the one which is cheaper...only difference is
probably in the bundled software..big deal.

Some of the card manufacturers skimp on the memory and underclock them below
true pro speeds to keep them stable. They are, in effect, 9800 non-pros
being sold as pros. The 9800 SE has half its rendering pipelines disabled,
and some unscrupulous vendors sell that as a pro. Buyer beware is the name
of this game.

PowerColor has some good cards and some not-so-good cards in its lineup, and
they have a reputation for buying ram from multiple sources so you don't
always know what you're going to get. Go to the bottom of this page and
