Hi,

Is there anyway to set power config by a batch file and
regkey import?

I try to set power config to 'presentation' so the
machine is always on.

while logon to the domain, the only user can change the
power setting seems the administrator...others can't even
they are granted the administrator's right on the local.

thanks

If you have a Windows Server 2003 [or a Windows XP SP1 OEM
Preinstall Kit (OPK)] see the following Microsoft Knowledge Base
Article which:

"... describes how to use Powercfg.exe ... to access the settings
from the Power Options tool in Control Panel and to set these
settings from a command line ... or ... us[ing] scripts after the
installation."

And since you are in an Active Directory environment you may want
to post in the following newsgroup:

If you read the newsgroups using the Microsoft Communities
