why when i use my laptop on a battery supply and then i
put it back pluging it to the power socket it doesn't
read the new type of power supply. keeps running on
battery and telling me that the battery goes lower and
lower....everything works but it doesn't read the cord
device

Some laptops will not move to external power unless you plug it in with the
computer off. My older IBM is that way. I have a new Vaio that doesn't care
one way or the other. The IBM will continue to run on batteries if I plug it
in while it is on until I reboot. You may also have a bad converter device
or plug.
