PC Power and Cooling has the best reputation.titus12 said:What is the best Power Supply unit on the market that is good for all new

Eight years for a power supply sure is a long time. I think I will orderMichael said:I think that the PC Power and Cooling units are the most reliable and
they make models for almost any requirement. I have one of their
power supplies that is still working fine after 8 years.
Doug said:That thing is a freakin monster! A bit overkill for the average
user, on power, and price. Looks to be a nice supply though....

Paul, you are out of your mind. 199.00 for a power supply is outrageousPaul said:This one is a beauty and a bargain at $199

I have not needed to do anything with the power supply. It runs 24x7C. Wilder said:Eight years for a power supply sure is a long time. I think I will order
one today. Have you never even replaced fan?

I have a 450 watt power supply I paid 50 dollars for 5 years ago andMichael said:Not if the unit lasts 8 to 10 years. I have a 300 Watt unit that I paid
$119.00 for 8 years ago. It still runs 24x7 and has never given me any
problems. Considering a "cheap" power supply costs around $30 and may
last 1 to 2 years I have at least broken even. That does not include
the time and aggravation of replacing one of the "lesser" units. A few
years ago I put it into a computer that took at least 30 minutes to
start if the power was disconnected. After I put in the PC Power and
Cooling power supply it worked flawlessly. I probably spent more time
trying to trouble shoot the problem than I spent on the better power
supply.
