only one of the fans on my dual fan power supply works. The one
pointing down in to the case works. The one pointing out the back does
not. I'm assuming this one might work when the PS get's hot. That's
only a guess.....the manual says nothing about it. The power supply is
a "retail plus" from radio shack....thanx

My guess is the one pointing out the back should also be running as this is
the fan that exhausts the heat from inside the case as well as cool the
power supply.

Actually BOTH fans move air from the case to the outside, they do not blow
in opposite directions.
But I agree they should both be running.

Power supply fans can be replaced.. if you take apart the casing, you can
carefully patch in a new fan.. that or just replace the Power supply..

You are right. This power supply was brand new. The guy's at Radio
Shack aren't very knowledgeable. I asked them if the fan at the back of
the P.S. was supposed to spin, one of them didn't know what a power
supply was, the other didn't know much about computers as well, but
suggested that I bring it in and they would exchange it for another one,
which I did. Both of the fans are spinning now, so I guess the other
one was defective....thanx 4 help
