power supply unit

hello everybody,

I planned to upgrade my 2 years old pc: my power supply unit of 300 W is a
bit old, limitated and (first of all) noisy!!!!!!!
So I decided to buy or Cooler Master 450w Realpower ultra silent, or Enermax
AL047N Noisetaker 475W.
The price in www.itnetshop.it is nearly the same so I need an advice from
someone experienced.

XP SP2
1200 AMD Processor
2 x 80 gig hard drives + 1 x 30 gig external USB.
DVD
CDRW

I recently installed an Enermax Noisetaker 420w. It has thermo control and
runs at approx 1200 rpm until worked hard when the revs go up. In my case is
very rare.

The fan(s) continue to run after windows shut down therefore ramping down
the cooling on its components.

No system failures yet and in all a nice quality produced unit.
