I am very interested in the Thermaltake XASER III V200A ( SILVER ) 12-Bay
All Aluminum ATX Super Tower Chassis w/ L. Side Window.

I would like to have a 500+ watt power supply.

My question is what 500+ power supply will fit into the Thermaltake XASER
III V200A ( SILVER ) 12-Bay All Aluminum ATX Super Tower Chassis w/ L. Side
Window?

My motherboard is going to be Asus P4C800-E Deluxe.

What do you need a 500+ watt PSU then?! I mean, I could understand it if
you were going to build a dual Xeon box with lots of drives and stuff,
but for an ordinary P4 box a good 350 or even an excellent 300 W unit is
going to be sufficient. This should also be quieter.

Exactly.

Stephan is correct, but has not thought of the future needs of the
box. It may only cost a minimal amount for a 500 W over a GOOD 3-350
watt PS now. It won't cost more to operate as that depends on drawn
wattage. Just make sure the +12 volt amperage is 20 or more as many
more items are using 12 volts than a couple years ago.

No. There is no different in noise if you use a 300W or an 550W PSU.
