Some time ago, I ran across a website that losted the 5 or 6 main
power supply manufacturers and the main brands they produced for. The
only one I remember was flotron. I have lost track of it.

Can anyone give me a link to such a site please?

Thanks, CJon

Some time ago, I ran across a website that listed the 5 or 6

www.directron.com/psu.html has a FAQ that's useless, but under "Notes"
it lists some actual manufacturers.

http://terasan.okiraku-pc.net/dengen/no99/index.html lists several
brands, some of them manufacturers.

www.overclockers.com has a power supply forum with some messages
containing FAQs.

Some manufactures I know of are:

FSP: Fortron, Source, Sparkle, Powerman, Hi-Q, Trend, Aopen. Most
but not all model numbers start with "FSP"

Delta: Acer, some OEM supplies. Models start with "DPS"

HEC: Heroichi, Compucase, older Antecs, including those with models
starting with "PP"

Topower: Toria, TTGI, maybe also Hiperpower and Superflower

Sirtec: Thermaltake, Vantec, High Power, Super Power, and maybe
Silver Stone Technology and Coolermaster.

Enermax: maybe Casemart and Wavesonic

Channel Well Technology: Antec, Lead Power. Except for Antec, model
numbers start with "CWT," but apparently another, much inferior, brand
uses this prefix as well.

Zippy-Emacs

Win-tact

Lite-On

Astec

2 manufactures to avoid:

Leadman: Powmax, Robanton, Raidmax

Deer: Allied, codegen, L&C, Logic, Foxconn, Mustang, Powerstar,
Eagle, Foxlink, Mercury, Duro, Austin, Turbolink, Real Power.
