I just noticed that the power settings don't save.
When I set the number of minutes for the monitor, hard
disk and standby to turn off and click on SaveAs, when I
go back, it is gone!
Whats the problem?

Hi Steve,

Many issues with PS within XP. Some are caused by updates. In the
meantime, run this edit to see if it helps:

Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.

Hi there,

Try this site. Just follow all the instructions and you
should be back to normal. I had the same problem a while
back.

Hope this helps,

When I was having troubles with that, your fix didn't
work for me. What the Gateway site does is run you
through a process of pretty much removing and then
replacing all the power schemes.
