2 things really.
I've been removing virii for several days now. It would seem XP is especially
vulnerable. or harder to clean than a win98 machine. The same thing pops up
over and over.
Something happened today the search from toolbar died. whatever I put up there
ie:sam spade, now appends http:///sam spade to the address bar. jumps you to
a dead link. Obviously. it's a syntax thing.
I just fixed this exact same problem on win98 a week or two back, but my notes
no longer exist on this machine on what I did. I thought I most likely used
repair Internet explorer, but that option doesn't seem to exist, or I can't
find it anymore and the troubleshooter doesn't mention it either.
does the repair option still exist and if so where ?
