power saving mode

My computer keeps going into power saving mode and
shutting down on me, even while Im using the computer. I
went into the power options and made sure it wasnt set to
shut down after a certain time. I dont know what to do.
How do I fix this problem?

Is the BIOS set correctly? You may have the sleep option on but no wake
up events activated.
