power save mode

Hi all

running win2000 on a gateway system. everything was working fine until i
replaced the old monitor with a new lcd monitor. now the monitor always goes
immediately into power save mode on reboot. tried switching back to the old
monitor but it now goes immediately into power save mode. is there anything i
can do to get the monitors working so i can view my settings.

Try booting into safe mode (F8 during the boot sequence) and chane Power
options.
