This is probably a bit OT, but I've tried to post to the PowerPro forum
several times and my posts never show up. If any of you are members, maybe
you could post this for me. Anyway some of you use PP and maybe you can
verify or help w/ the following.
PowerPro has a lot of great features, and I've been running it for years
(even made my own skin for it), but I find that certain apps don't like to
be launched from it. Process Explorer, for example, dies with an "incorrect
parameters" message. DriveCrypt "can't find vxd." Easy CD-DA Extractor says
"not enough memory." Previously The Bat's message viewer would only show
incomprehensible lines, but somehow that problem fixed itself. Likewise
Nero couldn't find any CDRW drives, but that problem went away seemingly
after I copied in the Nero ASPI dll.
All of these apps launch fine from other launchers like launchmate or Aqua
Dock, and in fact I run Aqua Dock in addition to PP just to take care of
them and any others I run frequently.
Anybody else notice this odd behavior by PP? I wonder what the problem is.
