I try to open Power Point but it opens, shows quick display (1/2 sec) then is gone. What do I have to do to get this working?

Yes, I have! Still the same. I believe I have used this before. I get power point messages alot.

Before opening PowerPoint, do a ctrl-alt-delete and see if it's listed under
applications in Task Manager. If it is, that's the issue. If you try to
open PowerPoint and it has already been loaded into memory, it will close.
If that is the case, something on your setup is loading PowerPoint unless
this is happening after looking at a presentation in which case, if you
closed it, it's not removing itself from memory.

What version of PowerPoint do you have? Please check the Knowledge Base

All of my other office products open and run great. The
fixes were not from the G5 what ever #'s of my
installation CD. Any other ideas - I have reinstalled and
that made no difference. Checked knowledge base. windows
update referred to SR1 and I had SP1 installed, so.....
