We are into photography and use power point for orghanizing and assembling
scrapbooks. We would like to get power point 2007. Is there an upgrade that
we would purchase or simply just purchase the new 2007 version?

Adding a new post subject into a previous thread is called hijacking and is
not appreciated as it makes it hard for others to follow the original
thread. You should have posted in the PowerPoint group as a new post. Now
that I have severely beaten you to a pulp :-) I'll attempt to answer your
question.

If you already own most versions of PowerPoint, 2000 or after, that would
qualify you to purchase and install the upgrade version of Microsoft Office
2007 or the Office 2007 version of PowerPoint standalone product. If you go
to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/FX101754511033.aspx and scroll
down, you will see the qualifying programs for both the Office Suites and
for the standalone PowerPoint.
