Have you set the laptop to dual monitors? In Windows, right click on the
Desktop, choose Properties and click on the Settings Tab. You'll want to
click on the #2 monitor and check the box that says Extend my Windows
desktop onto this monitor. In PowerPoint you'll need to go to Slide Show >
Set Up Show and set the presentation to show on the secondary display.

I have designed a Power Point presentation for my son's wedding. Now I
can't get the presentation to appear on the tv screen. What do I need to
do. I have an s-video cord running from the laptop to the television. I
have switched the television to the correct video line. Now what? The
wedding is fast approaching!
