Power Point scrolling slide question

I am working on a presentation for an awards ceremony. Is there any way in
powerpoint to have several slides within presentation to continuously loop
until I tell it to go onto the next slide? What I am trying to do is have
several slides pertaining the the award recipient loop while I talk about the
award/award winner then I want the presentation to go to the next slide when
I tell it to....is this possible?
