power point question. Please help

I am doing a presentation for a job interview tomorrow. I have a vertical
line down the left side of some of my slides that I can't get rid of. I don't
know how or why they got there. This is my first time to use this. Can you
tell:)Can someone please help? Urgent. Thanks so much. Jane.

Is it possible that you have some sort of object on the slide? But if you
hit the tab key, it will cycle through each object on the slide. Else, is
there some sort of picture or by graphic that could be causing it?

PowerPoint version
Windows version
Are you using VBA?
Anything else relevant?
 
You might look on the slide masters. First go to View | Normal -- do that
twice, to make sure you have the slide thumbnail pane on the left visible.
Then go to View | Master | Slide Master. All the slide masters will show in
the slide pane. Go to each one in turn and see if there's a vertical line on
any of them.
