power point on laptop

I just sent a question as anonymous and now I am trying to
figure out where the responses show up. I see a lot of
interesting questions, but how do I read the responses.
Can anyone please tell me why when I burn a power point
presentation to a cd and try to run it on my laptop some
of the letters end up as 000's? It plays all right on the
desktop.
Sorry for the repeat, but as you can readily see I don't
know what I am doing.

If you click the little + sign next to your original post you will see a reply. Of course you will never see this reply
because you do not know that you have to click the + sign.

Hmmm
I know how to navigate the questions and answers here, but on my display, there are no little "plus" signs. I'm viewing this forum as a webpage in IE

It generally depends on which page you're looking at in IE. Some of the
pages use a newer interface than others.

Probably you're looking at the newer interface which expands the thread when
you click on a post. But there are other interfaces which don't work this
way -- in those, you have to actually click a "plus sign" in order to expand
the thread and see responses. Many people don't know to do that, so they
have trouble spotting the reply posts.
