Make sure your version of PowerPoint is up to date. Have you tried the presentation on another machine?

Yes I am on the 4th machine. I am currently installing & updating PP on
another machine.
I accidently entered this discussion 3 times due to error response from
Microsoft.

How did you receive the file? Files don't often get corrupted via email transfer
or due to bad media but it can certainly happen.

Can you get a fresh copy of the file, preferably as a ZIP archive so you know
right away whether or not it's been corrupted?

The user spent most of yesterday modifying it, then saved it to a Novell
server. she opened it this AM & couldn't. I think she spent most of today
redoing it. I am not working with it anymore. It would have been nice saving
her numerous hr., but sometimes these things happen...Thanks for all the
inputs...

Argggg... A Novell server. Many known issues and the Novell site has
suggestions on preventing it. (Rule #1: Never save to a server. Instead
save it to the local drive and then copy it over.)
