I had Microsoft Office 97 (with PowerPoint97)loaded onto
my old computer (Windows 95). Since then, I have
purchased a new computers with Windows XP Home. The only
thing it the new computer didn't come with was the
PowerPoint. Can I load the old software onto XP. Is there
a download that I would need to make it work?

If you are no longer using the other computer, you can remove the Office 97
software from it and load it on your new computer. I assume you have the
original CDs that came with it?

I have PPT 97 on my Windows XP Pro installation, and it's fine. I would
suspect that you'll be okay with it on Windows XP Home as well.

You don't need any specific downloads or anything, but be sure to
install the various service packs/service releases for PPT/Office 97.

That's exactly what my setup was initially. XP with OfficePro97.
Worked great!
