Power point 2003

I've found two different occasions on two separate and disparate systems
where PP2003 would not open a presentation created in PP200. I could open
the same file in PP2000 and save it as a PP95 file. I could then open *that*
file in PP 23003.
Any ideas?

PowerPoint 2003 as originally shipped had this problem. MS released a service
pack to fix it pretty quickly though, and now we're up to SP2.

If you haven't already done so, start PPT, choose Help, Check for Updates and
let MS have its way.
