Hi i have recently had to format my computer because of a bad virus and although i am quite computer literate i have forgotten how to do some simple things. Recently i went to burn some information and it was going to take a long time so i turned the monitor off and came back about the time it was due to finish, but i noticed that when i turned the monitor on and moved the mouse it powered up the whole computer. i checked what i was burning and although the time had continued to tick over it still had about the same time left to burn and it hadn't done that much, i do remember having to do something with the power managment the stopped it from saving power but i can't remember what. if this has made any sense at all could you help?
