Under the Power Options there is a setting to turn the monitor off. Users
cannot adjust this to anythiing other than "After 20 minutes" which is the
initial setting because they don't have permission. Where is the option to
allow the user to change this setting?

Thank you
Ray

Hi Ray,

On my Win2000 standalone computer, my work-around is to grant "Users" Full Control
access to the following registry key, like this:

- Run regedt32.exe
- Navigate to the registry key given below
- On the Security menu, click Permissions
- Grant "Users" Full Control

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Controls Folder\PowerCfg
