I have a defrag program that I have set to run when my screen saver is on. I
also set my monitors to turn off at the same time as the screen saver because
they don't need to be on. I set the screen saver to turn on and the monitor
to go off at 2 minutes. after a while my monitor did not turn off. I kept
re-setting the power scheme, but it never stayed. I saved it as a power
scheme and that got deleted. I tried saving it as a power scheme and
deleting the others so it would have to use the one I set, but it got deleted
again and now I cannot set the power options at all. the fields are grayed
out.

Hi,

See if this command helps, from Start/Run:

cmd /k powercfg /RestoreDefaultPolicies

Press Enter
