Power Options Properties

Hello

I have XP Pro on a P4 and my Power Options Properties are completely blanked
out. All of the drop down menus under Power schemes, and times for turning
off the monitor, hard disks, etc., are all blanked out and I can't change my
power settings. How can I fix this? Thanks.
