I am running a windows 2003 domain. We have 2000
Professional and XP Professional client workstations. I
would like to enable standby mode for a large group of
computers. Is there a way to apply this change to an
entire group thru use of a group policy or is this
something that must be applied to each workstation
manually?

Thank you in advance for your responses.

Hello Shell,

I am looking at the keys that are modified when Stadnby is enabled.

The key is at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\PowerCfg but most of the data
is in hex.

The best you may be able to do is push out a reg change that sets the
CurrentPowerPolicy valuie to Home, Laptop or whatever.
