Power Options and Log On

Two issues. First, how can I log using the ctrl, alt, &
delete method for security purposes. My computer just
load my settings. Second, how can I ad the hibernate tab
so that I can put my computer on standby or hibernate?

1.Go to user accounts in control panel, change the way
users log on and off. Uncheck use the welcome screen.
2.Go to power options in control panel. Hibernate tab,
check enable hibernation. If you do not have this tab,
your system may not support it. Post back with more
system info, like manufacturer, bios (motherboard) if
known, how old it is, etc.. You may need to update your
bios, check with thw manufacturer also.
 
I re-installed the video driver to get the hibernate tab.
Another post suggested that. Thanks. But for security
purposes, I want log on using Ctrl+Alt+Del
 
Turn off the Welcome Screen and you will get the normal window and you will have to press Ctrl+Alt+Del to login. Note that this has to be password protected or else a simple enter will enable logging in

Another post said to install the video driver and it
worked for the power situation. But I cannot find the
advanced tab for the user accounts in the control panel.
Help. And thanks for your assistance.
