I mistakenly changed my Power On Password in the Setup
Configuration screen in Windows 2000 Professional by
hitting F2 during the previous startup. Now a black
screen appears saying "Power On Password" and showing a
picture of a key. I tried entering the power on password
but it doesn't let me in.

Is there anything I can do?

This has nothing at all to do with any operating system. You've set a
password in the BIOS of your computer. You need to check the manual for
your computer, or your motherboard to see how to cancel the password
you've set.
