power on but no screen

uhm yah im a pretty big noob when it coms to computers and i've done everything i know of.
basically i turn on the computer everything buzzes and hums like it supposed to but noyjin comes on the screeen. thing is it was working perfectly fine a few minutes before [i just restarted it] and when it came on no post, nothin. ive taken everything out put it back in switched monitors, reset bios and cant think of anything else.
specs:
this suckers old rumaged it off a frieand
all i know about it

Geforce4 64mb
614 mb ram
pentium III 1.00 ghz

Has your monitor lead come loose?

Why did you restart it?

Do you have a power on indicator (usually green) on front of monitor?
 
umm i restarted it because i installed alchol
and yes there is a monitor led it stays yellow and sometimes when i turn it back on it will say no signal.
