My power management settings worked in NT, for a non-
intelligent UPS where the time on battery power could be
set by the user. In 2000 the same cable and signal causes
the system to shutdown immediately. I have so far spent 3
hours rebooting without being able to figure out why the
application (developed by APC) responds differently. The
MS info is cryptic and the APC info only refers to their
S/W for intelligent UPS's. A google search was also
unsuccessful so far. Any assistance will be appreciated.
All I want to do is repeat with 2000 that which worked
with NT: as soon as a Power Failure signal (negative) is
detected, a message is sent. Then, 60 min later, should
the power not be restored, the system shuts down.
