Hi,

Has anyone else had problems printing w/ .Net on Postscript (esp. high end
color laser) printers? We have reports of users having weird problems with
printers like the Lexmark C720 and Samsung ML-1450. Both of these are
dual-mode printers that have both PCL and Postscript but the users claim
they're using the PCL driver. Still -- looks like a connection.

Thanks, Steve

Hello Steve,

Thanks for your post. As I understand, the problem you are facing is that
your application does not print properly on some Postscript printers.
Please correct me if there is any misunderstanding. I think more
information is needed before moving forward:

1. What's the detailed sympton of the problem say, error messages, etc?

2. Does the problem occur to other applications on their systems?

3. How do you print in your program, print directly or via some some
third-party printing component? Could you post a simple program/code
snippet demonstrating what you are doing?

I look forward to your response.

Have a nice day!

Steve,
Only problems our office has seen with Lexmark is when using older
printer drivers. The original Lexmark drivers didn't support Unicode
properly which caused a problem. Upgrading to the latest driver from
Lexmark fixed the problem.
