I am trying to move from outlook express to outlook. I keep getting the
error "the microsoft mail postoffice could not be found". What directory
should this be in and how do I establish the file.
 
What version of Outlook are you trying to use? Sounds like you're using the
MS Mail service as opposed to the Internet Mail service. I'm about 99 &
44/100th percent sure that you don't need the MS Mail service. Your MAPI
profile doesn’t need it. Check if you see it here: Control Panel > Mail
applet.
