I have just reformatted and reinstalled XP Pro, I used to have this site on
my Outlook Express and it was easier to use.

Does anyone know how I can put it back there, as it is so long since I put
it there I can't remember how I did it.

I am also trying to set up OE to serve as my news reader and I have
printed the instructions from both the Windows set-up instructions for
OE and from the Michael Stevens article.

I can get only as far as the Newsgroup Subscriptions dialog box before I
run into a problem. I can refine the contents of the box to XP groups,
but they all read only "microsoft.public.win. . ." . I have no way of
knowing the specific topic of any of the groups because the titles are
incomplete. I tried ticking the box for searching descriptions as well,
but no descriptions are to be found for any of the groups in the dialog
box by any method I have tried (mouseover, right-click).

Can someone offer a suggestion as to how I can complete my list of
subscriptions?

I'm not sure if I understand exactly what you're referring to but
you might want to try the following:

In the Newsgroup Subscription dialog box there should be a header
titled Newsgroup above the "microsoft.public.win" entries. To the
right to that title, next to Description, there should be a
vertical bar. Put your mouse pointer directly over that bar until
it turns into a double sided arrow. Double click on that bar with
your left mouse button. This should expand the listing so that
you can view the entire newsgroup name. You can also hold down
that bar with the left mouse button and drag it left or right.
