Posting on newsgroups

How do I change my information so that my true email
address does not show in newsgroups? I posted one
question and immediately got spam on one email account.
I could not change my basic information from showing in
outlook. How do I do this??
 
If you are using Outlook Express, click Tools, then Accounts. Select the
"News" tab and then click the "Properties" button, where you can edit your
email address.
