Hi,

I come on PC Review and read alot of the posts. I write out a reply, and when im happy with it...i dont post it. Its not that im unhappy with the post...somtimes, i type alot of my thoughts and suggestions or whatever that is worth while...but, i dont stop unless im happy with it, and even after that i wont post it. I hope people understand what i mean ^_^

I dont know why i do it, but i was curious to know if anyone else had any habits like that on a forum.

Recently, ive been ^_^ alot on forums as well ^_^ lol

you mean you type a reply but dont post it? thats rather odd, but i see your meaning. in any case, no i dont do that but i sure theres someone here like that =).

I don't do that at all, if I decide to respond I make sure I post it. If you do things in a hurry you may experience what you described. You do not have to respond to all the posts on all the forums just because you have read them.

The best policy when you come across a post is to either:

1) Add value to it - give more information than the original poster if you have it for the benefit of others

2) Ask clarifications if need be, so that others may also benefit if the original poster is slightly vague in his expression.

3) Share your experience on the subject of discussion so that others may benefit.

I hope this helps.

I sometimes get half a message written, but only when I am in a hurry - I just copy it to notepad and then finish it off when I have time ;)

Very good point! :thumb:

Occasionally I also end up doing it. This is sometimes needed when you are responding to a direct question and your explanation is lengthy needing your full attention.

Pure stream of conciousness here, type it, don't think about, post it :D

Then three hours later regret it... ;)
