posting from google?

I often peruse newsgroups and sometimes post messages. No problem doing this
from home. But sometimes I want to do this from another location when I am
on a different system, not using my own ISP.

So, I went to Google Groups. BUT, it APPEARS that I have to register with
them, which I did. But it also appears that if I post, my email address will
also appear. I don't want to do that. I want it munged to avoid the SPAM and
other virus crap that comes from idiots harvesting my email address from
newsgroup postings.

Is there any way I can do this?

Set up a throwaway address. hotmail.. yahoo.. hundreds of places. Or
your own ISP may give you multiple address.
