Posting a new Question - page just refreshes

Often, when I'm trying to post a new question to (any) Discussion Group, even
though I'm already automatically signed in, I can't get this
new-question-form (the one I'm filling in here) to appear without signing out
and back in again. And although I ALWAYS click on 'save my email and
password' the system NEVER saves my password, which is very irritating. Any
suggestions, solutions, anyone?

Use a newsgroup reader, since these are really newsgroups, not web forums.

Thanks for the prompt response. I'm trying to avoid filling my hard drive
with more guff from Microsoft (or anyone else, for that matter). I use
Outlook 2000 extensively, so I'm reluctant to mess about with Express as
well. Won't it create a huge overhead?
 
My machine at home started behaving as you reported. This started about two
weeks ago. I loaded up the Opera browser and posting works fine.

I do not blame you. That said, Express, if used only for newsgroups, isn't
that bad of a piece of software.

You can also access newsgroups via Mozilla Thunderbird as well.
